

Risk Management
Under Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) must have a system in place for supporting Psychological Health and Safety in the workplace.
This means having a system in place to prevent, intervene and support the recovery of all who are subject to harm.
It is the PCBU's duty to ensure systems are in place to prevent harm, intervene and support the recovery of employees, contractors and volunteers.
How to Support Psychological Health and Wellbeing
Prevention:

Implement Control Measures.​

Intervention:

Identify, Address, Implement control measures where workers are showing early signs of work related stress.

Intervene early to mitigate harm.

Support Recovery:
​
Employ internal and external recovery resources to ensure the impacted employee is supported to manage their injury. Often employees affected by incidents or circumstances causing psychological harm require external professional support.
